So, I am sitting here trying my best to not throw stuff at random people passing my office. No, I do not have anger issues ... just bored. Then a big, big box arrives for me ... shame the cute delivery guy didn't come with it. Thought about taping him to the chair but don't feel like getting deported. Anyway, I digress ... suprise !!

In the box are some required yearly purchases that are much needed in my oh so boring, yet I love it, profession. Books!!! Now, I love the smell of new books. I don't know why or what it is about them but whenever I pick up a new book I cannot help but put my nose to it and flip through the pages. I just love it. Fantastic smell!! Is this wierd? I never thought so ... have never thought about how people might be reacting in bookstores . Yet I glance up from my gleefull, headfirst dive into the book to find 5 ( yep FIVE ) people in my doorway watching me sniff books with a slackjaw look of amazement on their faces!! No amount of talking could help so what did I do ? I burst out laughing. I am sitting here with tears rolling down my face !!!!

So, my point ... yes, I really had one. What do you guys do/like that might be considered a little strange? No, I am not looking for cheap porn.

As I type this there is person standing in front of my desk and I am trying ignore them but guess what ... that just encourages more useless drivel to fall out of their mouth. I have no desire to hear all about their .... well, just trust me ... no desire to hear at all. The first 20 minutes were mildly entertaining and I did actually sit here and make eye contact and nod in the right places. This person has no friggin idea when they have outstayed their welcome.

My next move is to start slinging paperclips !!!!

Does anyone even know what this means anymore? No, I am not talking about finding a busy street corner to stand on, show a little leg and make a few dollars ( pounds .. lol ). I am talking about when there is a great physical attraction and the burning desire to rip each others clothes off yet one of you ( namely me ) does not want at this point a serious relationship. Does this make me a slut? Does this make me easy? Sure I could ( as any woman could ) walk into pretty much any bar and get laid but thats not what I want. I know I am sounding like a hypocrite but I don't do random stranger sex ... I just want a no strings attached 'thing' with someone who I trust, respect and fancy the pants off ( to use an English expression ).

Am I alone in my thoughts here?

My weekend breakdown for you. Drunk Friday with the girls as predicted . Fell in a hole. Hung over Saturday as predicted. Didn't get to London as predicted. Was accidentally kissed by a girl on Sunday ( not predicted ). Got a new cat on Monday.

Ah well, here we are another week at the end ... and a weekend around the corner. So to stay with accountant tradition we all went to the pub at lunch and consumed a respectable amount of wine. Do you know that after 1 bottle per person the keys are not so easy to find on this keyboard! Sneaky things. So what am I doing this weekend. A cute guy if I'm lucky .. however seeing as hell has not quite frozen over yet I dont guess that will be happening. My plans at this point are ... girls night out tonight, recovery tomorrow day, night out in London tomorrow day ... laze around Sunday and cut the grass Monday. However. lets be honest ... will the grass really get cut. I highly doubt it. I'm trying to start my own nature reserve!! So what do you guys all have planned for this last long weekend of the summer ( by the way ... I am never going to get used to this English weather )

Ok , off to try and persuade someone to make me a cup of tea ... is bribery against employment laws over here??

WTF happened around here. I disappear for a while to take care of some much needed stuff. I get back and one of my fav fellow bloggers whacks his damn head. Geezzzzz.
